The Constitutional Monarchy Association is an organisation with national membership. In some areas members have formed themselves into informal groups or branches

Welcome to this web site of the Kent Branch of the Constitutional Monarchy Association.

We are a non political organisation made up of people from all walks of life and every section of the Community who are united in our belief that Constitutional Monarchy, as we in the United Kingdom enjoy, is the best form of government and that in Her Majesty the Queen we are truly blessed with a Monarch and Head of State who is worthy of our complete devotion, respect and support.

For 60 glorious years Her Majesty has been, for many of us, a constant in life. She has led the nation through joy and tribulation and has been an example of self sacrifice and dedication. Often our members say that they have longed for an opportunity outside of big national events, like the jubilee celebrations and Royal Weddings to 'pin their royalist sympathies 'to the mast head'. The CMA gives people an opportunity to do just that.

I hope you will consider joining us, if you are not already a member, and attending one of our County events.

Sadly, for health reasons, Bishop Damien has decided that he must resign as chairman of the Kent Group of the C.M.A. He has been our chairman for many years and we are, of course, enormously grateful for all he has done and, perhaps especially, for the wonderful garden parties he has hosted. Hopefully, we may still see him from time to time at our events.

Peter Homewood has kindly agreed to take over the chairmanship.

The Kent Group invites you to join us in supporting the British Monarchy. Regular meetings are held throughout the year, usually at The Dog & Bear Hotel or The Red Lion in Lenham a historical village, in central Kent on the A20 near to Maidstone.

Previous events have featured guest speakers from organisations such as The Princes Trust, The College of Arms and the Tower of London, plus outings to places such as Highgrove and Clarence House. We usually have a summer Garden Party, and in November we celebrate the birthday of HRH The Prince of Wales.
